Maggie’s Nursery Eastbourne is a large private day Nursery operating within a beautifully decorated, light and spacious 3 storey Victorian house within a 3 minute walk from Eastbourne beach and just a 15 minute walk from Eastbourne station.

We provide a safe, calm, homely environment for children aged from 3 months old to 5 years old.

As you step into our homely nursery you will quickly learn about our curriculum and gain an understanding of the experience your child will enjoy during their time with us. Our shared values and the learning that takes place at nursery are proudly on show. Brightly coloured displays of children’s art work and current themes and projects are visible for parents to quickly gain an understanding of the celebration of children’s interests and achievements that takes place each day at our nursery.

Located close to the beach and with the South Downs National park on our doorstep we support children to develop awe and wonder in the natural environment and gain an understanding of and respect for nature. We plan, educational, healthy active days out for the children to enjoy the beauty of their local area.

Our large secure garden provides plenty of space for children to explore and enjoy the outdoors. We have a wide range of outdoor resources that children can enjoy from trikes and bikes to balancing beams, sand and water play, hoops and balls, outdoor arts and crafts to den building and climbing. Our team will provide the support and care needed to keep your child safe and secure whilst they happily enjoy the freedom to explore outdoor play with their friends, use their imagination, take measured risks, and have lots of fun in a safe and secure environment. We provide structured learning environments. Our holistic approach to childcare supports children’s academic, social and emotional needs.

Our enthusiastic, caring and friendly team are all qualified childcare practitioners with most staff being qualified to a Level 3 or above in childcare or being supported by a Level 3 practitioner whilst working towards their Level 3 qualification.

Children are provided with breakfast, lunch and tea. Healthy snacks are provided twice a day plus the children are provided with fresh drinking water and milk.

We offer freshly prepared breakfast, lunch and tea made from scratch in our 5* hygiene rated kitchen. Healthy snacks are also offered twice a day as well as fresh drinking water and milk throughout the day. We follow NHS approved healthy and nutritious menus. We do not use sugar, salt or processed foods. Parents also have the option to provide their child with a packed lunch if they prefer.

At Maggie’s parents can keep in touch with their child’s day and enjoy viewing their wow moments and see what activities they have been involved in during the day all by viewing through an online app. The interactive app allows parents and carers to interact with the nursery team and the key person and exchange photos, videos, comments, observations and activities and keep up to date with the Newsfeeds from the nursery.

Maggie’s Nursery Eastbourne open 50 weeks of the year from Monday – Friday ( we are closed on bank holidays )

We open from 8am – 6pm | We also offer half day sessions

We offer all of the Governments funded schemes from 2 year old funding to 3 and 4 year old funding as well as the 30 hours free funded spaces. We offer funded only childcare.

We are also signed up to the Tax free savings scheme and Student Childcare Grants Scheme. We also accept childcare vouchers.

Hi, I’m Margaret and I am the co owner of Maggie’s Day Nursery | Eastbourne.

Being a proud grandparent myself, watching and supporting my grandchildren to grow and learn provides me with joy! I believe that all children deserve the best start in life. At Maggie’s we work hard to provide the support and encouragement your child needs to develop into healthy, confident and enthusiastic learners, ready and prepared for school.

We ensure that children in our care receive high quality teaching and care. We make it a priority to invest in resources and plan enjoyable, fun activities to engage and challenge your child.

We provide a safe, comfortable environment where children feel free to happily explore independently as well as enjoy a range of structured, guided lessons.

Hi, I am Maria and I am a co owner here at Maggie’s Day Nursery. As mother myself I am passionate about providing the best possible care for children in an environment where children can feel safe, secure and happy. We provide a wonderful learning environment where children develop in confidence whilst having lots of fun, learning and building all important social skills and friendships.

I ensure that only the most committed, positive and enthusiastic staff members work within our friendly, nurturing environment.

We invest heavily in resources as well as create opportunities for children to develop their own learning environments reusing everyday items. We provide an enjoyable, exciting learning environment in a spacious and light detached building which has a large outdoor space for children to enjoy each day. I Hope to welcome you to our nursery soon!
